From April 22 - May 6 2024, MAEF ran our 1st Annual Teacher Appreciation Week Contest. The community had the opportunity to submit 'letters of appreciation' to any of our staff and teachers along with a donation to MAEF. The top 3 teachers with the most summed donations would receive prizes - including money to spend for the classroom, giftcards for themselves, and a pizza party for their class. 

It was a close race down to the end, with the following 3 teachers taking home the coveted spots:

1st Place - Mr Levy,  Strathmore Elementary

2nd Place - Mrs Coviello, Ravine Drive Elementary

3rd Place - Mrs Petruccio - Cliffwood Elementary

The contest brought in approximately $3000 for MAEF to use toward 2024-2025 grants. 

A tremendous thank you to all vendors who donated gift cards, as well as DiBaris Pizza for sponsoring the pizza parties!
